The third area of interest to our group is educating ourselves and our communities. To achieve this goal, we invite people with first-hand experience with human rights in Russia to speak at our monthly meetings. At the October 2002 meeting, we had Maria Stephan from Tufts University tell us about her experience working with a non-violent activist group in Russia called Soldiers' Mothers.

Some members of our group are also interested in visiting local high school Amnesty groups in Massachusetts to talk about the Russia Campaign. If you are a high school Amnesty member, please feel free to contact us.
