1951 - Rock and roll begins in America. Jack Philson invents the Philson Stratoblaster Air Guitar to impress his girlfriend, Monica Velasquez.
1953 - Philson Air guitars catch on with a hip, urban audience. Mass production begins. Uncle Jack quits his job as night watchman at Denny's. Marries Monica. Her 23-year-old son from a previous marriage, R "Bud" Valesquez, comes with the deal. Later, his last name changes from "Valesquez" to "Philson".
1965 - The Beatles sing "A Hard Day's Night." Uncle Jack sings to IRS about back taxes and enters Rockland County Correctional Facility for 30 years. Monica Philson continues manufacturing air guitars in his absence.
1969 - Woodstock. Nearly a quarter million air guitar fanatics gather to celebrate the 18th anniversary of Philson Stratoblasters.
1987 - R. "Bud" Philson finally graduates from Harvard with a Masters in Business Administration. Turns down high-paying job with Fortune 500 company to work inthe mailroom of his uncle's air guitar company.
1988 - "Bud" takes over the chairmanship of Philson Guitars.
