This modus can be used on light garments and is often the only recourse on darks. The advent of effective desktop computer systems has inspired a tremendous growth in this once highly specialized and labor intensive separation process. At present there are no computer applications that address this problem directly but programs such as Adobe Photoshop have a full enough range of functionality to empower todays shirt separator to do things only dreamed of a few years back. At present these techniques are somewhat rare and require highly specialized operators.
