I commend the seventh graders at Broad Meadows Middle Scnool for their inspiring campaign. Iqbal's life and tragic death shocked the conscience of people in many different lands. A school in his name in Pakistan will be a beautiful and fitting memorial, and an enduring reminder of the great cause he brought to the world's attention. I intend to contact Prime Minister Bhutto to help expedite this worthwhile project.
